Summer is upon us and it’s time to start enjoying summer reading! If you would like to participate in the Adult Summer Reading Challenge with The Whiting Library. Here is all the information you need:

Over the summer, between June 24th and August 12th, 2020, complete activities from the Summer Reading Challenge sheet. For each square you cross off on the activity sheet you get an entry into our prize giveaways! 

How to participate:

• Pick up a copy of the activity sheet at the library or print one from the library website.
• Dive into a fun summer of reading, listening, and connecting with the Whiting Library by completing the activities on the sheet.
• Send us an email with the list of activities you did to whitinglibrary1@gmail.com. Or you can take a picture of your completed activity sheet and email it to us. Or you can drop your completed activity sheet off at the library by August 12th, 2020.
• Remember, we will need your name and contact information to put in the drawing for the prize giveaways.

Prize drawings:

• You receive one entry for each activity you complete. If you do all the activities that’s 20 chances to win. Wowee!!
• There are three different $50 gift cards you can win. You can specify which drawing you would like to enter or we can disperse your entries evenly between the prizes.
• The three types of gift cards are: Shaw’s Supermarket, The Copper Fox Restaurant in Springfield, or the Black Rock Steakhouse in Springfield. 
• The drawings for prizes will be held on August 19th, 2020.

Rules:

• You may fill out only one sheet.
• You can enter a maximum of 20 entries.
• If your name is drawn as a prize winner, you can only win one prize maximum.
• This challenge is for adult and teen readers.
• The challenge ends August 12, 2020
• You need a Whiting Library account in order to play. Accounts are free for Chester and Andover residents so sign up today!
