Did you know that summer break can lead to the “summer slide,” where kids lose academic progress? Our Summer Reading Challenge is the perfect way to keep young minds sharp! Regular reading helps reinforce literacy skills, prevent learning loss, and spark new achievements—all while having fun.
How it works:
📚 Kids track their reading and report back to the library for a weekly pick from the prize basket!
🎟️ Every weekly report earns one entry into our grand prize raffle on August 16, 2025!
This event is designed for kids, but let’s be honest—grown-ups will love it too! Plus, while you’re here, don’t forget to sign up for our Summer Reading Program, running from June 28 to August 9. Explore new worlds through books, enjoy exciting library programs, and win fantastic prizes!
