Whiting Library is thrilled to announce the launch of our annual Summer Reading Program, themed “Adventure Begins at Your Library.” This summer, we invite readers of all ages to embark on a thrilling journey filled with books, activities, and events designed to inspire a love of reading and exploration.

Program Highlights:

  • Exciting Learning Challenges: Participants can earn raffle tickets and rewards by completing reading challenges and activities. You can track your progress online at vermont.beanstack.org or with our special reading logs, which are available at the library located at 117 Main Street. Youth readers earn raffle tickets for every two hours of reading and by completing various fun summer activities. Adults can download and complete a reading bingo board. Everyone who returns a completed bingo board by August 10 will receive a prize and be entered into a raffle drawing.
  • Interactive Programming: From weekly storytimes to craft workshops and nature presentations, there’s something for everyone. Check our calendar at www.whitinglibrary.org/events/ for a full schedule of events. Visit our calendar of events to find out what’s going on this week at Whiting Library!
