Are you a whiz at jigsaw puzzles? Join the challenge! On Saturday, January 27, at 10:30 a.m., three teams that register for the challenge in advance will be handed a sealed 500-piece jigsaw puzzle entitled “Story Time.” At exactly 10:30 a.m., each team will open their box and attempt to assemble their puzzle. The team that finishes first will win bragging rights and a gift certificate to a local Chester restaurant. Recommended for families with kids ages 12 and up.
Rules:
Tables will be set up around the library before the challenge, and each team will be assigned a table.
There is space for three teams.
Teams can comprise any number of people, but only three people can work on the puzzle at any time.
Members can tag out and switch puzzlers every 30 minutes.
Teams must sign up ahead of the event at the library or can send an email with their team name to the Youth Librarian, Carrie King, at youthlibrarian@whitinglibrary.org.
The challenge is over when the first team completes their puzzle.
Each team is given the same sealed puzzle at the start of the challenge.
Snacks and drinks will be provided to teams that are signed up for the challenge.
