Beyond the doors of Whiting Library lies a treasure trove of facts, figures, and feats of the imagination. Plus, you will find people always ready to welcome and help everyone. Whiting Library is a shared community space that brings people together

This year, the towns of Chester and Andover contributed 64% of our operating budget. We depend on donations from citizens like you to fill the gap between town-funded support and the services you love. Donors like you make it possible for us to keep our doors open, offer a wide selection of materials and support the special programs that you have come to expect from Whiting Library. We need your support. Please consider making a tax-deductible gift to the Whiting Library.

When you donate to our library, you are not only helping us build our collection. You also support our ability to sponsor weekly activities, special events, and guest speakers. Adult activities such as book clubs, art exhibits, or craft workshops can be a wonderful learning experience and an opportunity to meet new people. Weekly story hour, game time, and nature programs engage your children and foster their love for books and the information that books share with them.
